Wolverine Execution Services (WEX) has implemented several pairs trading strategies into the WEX Trading Platform (WTP) framework to give users both simple and sophisticated tools for working correlated securities. With no limit to the number of pairs that can be simultaneously managed, the WTP Pairs Trader uses realtime market data to analyze security relationships, placing and working orders automatically.

Users can activate and deactivate existing security pairs, add new relationships, create and change theoretical values instantaneously, giving the operator complete control over the trading portfolio. Stock, options and futures can be worked in parallel on disparate execution venues, allowing a broad range of possible trading schemes.
