The WEX Trading Platform (WTP) Quote Cube is a full-featured, depth-of-market data viewer, complete with book data from ARCA, ISLD and the NYSE. Users can now see multiple price points from the same execution venue, interspersed with quotes from every other exchange, market maker and ECN. This application consolidates the market data and gives users the ability to make trading decisions based not just on the "best" quote, but also on the available liquidity behind the best quote. With a fully configurable interface, the end-user can also control which market data is being presented in the application. The Quote Cube also includes a price predictor, which gives live feedback on the estimated cost of a given quantity of the security.

Configuring the Quote Cube

The Quote Cube can be configured to show any or all components (Market Data Summary, Time and Sales, Order Ticket, etc.) while simultaneously allowing the user to choose the data source(s).

Submitting Orders from the Quote Cube

Orders can be generated from the QuoteCube market data. Depending on how the user has configured the application, orders can key off both the displayed market size and displayed market price. Order sizes can be preconfigured, keyed off of a single quote, or aggregated across a range of quotes to allow "sweeping" of books.
