Release Staged Orders by Percentage with New Order Ticket Controls
With Vega Trader, WEX users can take advantage of market conditions by defining a target vega amount for a specific symbol (the Underlier). Vega Trader calculates the marketability of a trade based on price volatility and its nearness to the target vega. Learn all about Vega Trader here.

The spinner arrows in the Ref Px (Reference Price) field increase/decrease in one-cent increments for all managed orders.
The values will spin in whole-penny increments (1.10, 1.11, 1.12, etc.) or, when using more than two decimal places, will spin the numeral furthest to the right of the decimal in single increments as follows:
Release
Staged Orders by Percentage with New Order Ticket Controls
1. A staged order of 400 shares is created.
25% of the shares are to be released. The Stage: Release button is selected to open the Order
Ticket.
2. New Order Ticket controls (Percent Quantity Enable and Percent Quantity Field) are selected. 25(%) is entered.
3. Qty Left field in the Order Grid reflects that 25% (in this case, 100 shares) have been released.
Two new Order Ticket controls that allow for the release (in percentage) of the quantity of a Staged Order are now available.
These controls (Percent Quantity Enable and Percent Quantity Field) can be selected only when working staged orders.
In the example above, a staged order of 400 shares is seen in the Order Grid. Selecting the Stage: Release button opens the Order Ticket (this can also be accomplished using the send to-->Order Ticket command). The % Qty box is checked and a percentage value of 25 is entered. Once the buy order is complete, the Order Grid reflects the release in the Qty Left field.
Note 1: The Order Ticket's default Qty field is disabled when using the % Qty field.
Note 2: The percentage can be defined in decimal points. The spinner arrows will increase/decrease the value of numeral that is furthest to the right of the decimal by a single increment.
Note 3: If rounding is necessary, the quantity of the release will be automatically rounded up to the nearest share.
Learn how to add controls to the Order Ticket with the Ticket Editor. The Percent Quantity Enable and Percent Quantity Field controls are found under the Common category in the Add Control window.
